You’ve heard of ‘A Jack to a King’ (lol) but what about a Bluebirds Hollywood blockbuster? That was an idea floated around by friend of VFTN Mark Carter.
If we stay up, it will be amazing and there will be no Netflix film about it. But if there was, question to City fans now, who would you cast as our fantastic Bluebirds? #CityAsOne

I spoke to Mark about this idea and it got us thinking, could we cast some of our Bluebirds favourites in a Cardiff City Hollywood film? Here’s what we came up with:
Neil Etheridge – Daniel Henney
The Korean-American actor is known for his role in X-Men, but he could be cast as Cardiff’s very own superhero. He’s certainly got the hair and good looks for it.
Lee Peltier – Ricky Whittle
He’s already played a footballer – starring as Ryan Naismith in Dream Team – and Whittle could fit the role of Pelts well. Looks good with a shaved head and could definitely stand his ground.
Sol Bamba – Idris Elba
Who else but the man tipped to be the next James Bond? Bamba is the coolest cat around and Elba would be a fitting casting.
Sean Morrison – Bradley Cooper
Wavy hair, blue eyes and always up for a laugh, it’s got to be Bradley Cooper for the skipper.
Bruno Manga – Nicholas Pinnock
Few can pull off the thick hair and thick beard combo like our smooth Bruno, but Nicholas Pinnock does a good job.
Aron Gunnarsson – Travis Fimmel
First class Viking look achieved.
Harry Arter – Jake Gyllenhaal
Look at that slicked back hair. It remains to be seen whether Gyllenhaal can cover as much grass as our Harry.
Victor Camarasa – Miguel Angel Silvestre
It has to be one of Spain’s hottest active properties right now.
Junior Hoilett – Kofi Siriboe
He may be a bit younger than our Canadian wing wizard, but we think this is the perfect casting.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing – Alfred Enoch
He’s been in a Harry Potter film and you need a bit of magic to score goals like Mendez-Laing’s beauty against Brighton.
Oumar Niasse – Daniel Kaluuya
All about that smile!
Callum Paterson – Richard Madden
Scottish, talented and rocks a moustache. Not sure how well he can launch a two foot tackle into an empty net though.
Kenneth Zohore – Will Smith
Okay, he may be a bit old for Ken, but if he can roll back the clock he could lead the Cardiff line well.
Josh Murphy – Loyle Carner
Baby-faced Loyle Carner is a rapper, but if he wanted to give acting a shot, he could play Cardiff’s very own baby-faced Josh Murphy.
Bobby Reid – Karl Collins
Okay, we struggled with Bobby Reid so this is a reach, but if Karl Collins grew out some braids, it could work.
Joe Ralls – Jeremy Irvine
Have you every seen Joe Ralls and Jeremy Irvine in the same room? Us neither.
Greg Cunningham – Chris Evans
The Marvel star could pull off cheeky chappy Cunningham.
Neil Warnock – Sir Anthony Hopkins
Great shout by Nicholas Price on Twitter this. Make it happen.
Kevin Blackwell – Alec Baldwin
American Baldwin has probably never heard of our Kevin Blackwell, but there’s something in there that reminds me of Cardiff’s assistant manager.
Ronnie Jepson – Jamie Foreman
The Layer Cake actor is used to playing hardmen, so he’d have no problem filling Jepson’s shoes.
Joe Bennett – Joe Bennett
He’s so good looking he could be a Hollywood actor.
