Man of the Match – Neil Etheridge

Made a series of outstanding saves and, again, showed why he should be the Bluebirds’ player off the season 7

Lee Peltier

Yes, Pelts was poor. But he is the best bet at right-back with Manga in the centre of defence. Peltier has to keep starting. Has a bad time against Jota, but he is a highly skilled player 5

Sean Morrison (capt)

The skipper is having a bad time of it, but he should be encouraged. ‘Mozzer’ is effective at centre-back. Morrison and Manga should be the M-men at the heart of defence 5

Sol Bamba

Arguably my favourite Bluebirds player. A great bloke and a hugely competitive, effective defender. Yes, he made a mistake when Wolves scored their second goal and probably has to be rested even if his injury is not serious (And I sincerely hope it’s not). Top man, but take a break Sol 4

Joe Bennett

Has the potential to be a high quality left-back at the top level and for a long time showed that. But he simply has to be more consistent. I suppose, though, that is the big difference between those who shine in the Premier League and those that struggle. Bennett can step up 5

Aron Gunnarsson

I’m fed up with Gunnar’s long throws. They are way too predictable. That’s not his fault, but let’s see some variations on a theme. Hugely competitive, box-to-box midfield player who can have a major role for the Bluebirds over their last nine fixtures 4

Joe Ralls

Rallsy has shown he can operate in the top flight with success. He has energy, ability and a willingness to battle for his team. Confidence is the key – believe in yourself mate. I do 4

Victor Camarasa

The man who can still play a key role in saving the Bluebirds. A creative playmaker who has the skill and creativity to make things happen. Personally, I want to see more determination and intensity from Camarasa to reach full potential 4

Bobby Decordova-Reid

Bobby and Josh Murphy have the ability to be big players for Cardiff. They have been so close to achieving their potential it hurts. Come on boys, let’s have a big finish to the season. Become Bluebirds’ legends 4

Oumar Niasse

City have to pin their hopes on Niasse. Another player with potential who is still not showing how good he is. Nine games left – this next spell could make his career a major hit 4

Kenneth Zohore

Has the ability to make a Premier impact, but is falling short. Is the Dane too nice? Maybe. I want to see the ugly side of Zohore, willing to get into the dirty areas and make defenders worry about him. Come on, Kenneth, you have the quality 5
